Monthly Accessibility Checkup - Monthly insights from real users

The Monthly Accessibility Checkpoint is a recurring online lab designed to give UX researchers and product teams direct access to users with disabilities. Held every last Thursday of the month, this program allows up to two organizations to conduct two 45-minute research rounds with experts by experience. Whether you need to validate a specific design hurdle or perform a quick usability pulse-check, our lab provides the platform, the participants, and the expert moderation to help you build more inclusive digital products.

Bridge the gap between design and inclusion with monthly, expert-led user testing sessions.

Why Join the Checkpoint?

For UX teams working in fast-paced environments, finding and recruiting participants with specific accessibility needs can be a bottleneck. Our monthly lab creates momentum, allowing you to hook into a pre-organized research cycle. It is the perfect "learning by doing" opportunity; your team will be guided by our inclusive research advisors, gaining hands-on experience in how to moderate and observe sessions with diverse users.

This format supports continuous improvement. Because it happens every month, you can return to validate iterations or test new features before they go live. While the sample size (N=2) is focused, it provides high-impact qualitative insights that can steer your development in the right direction, especially when working in Agile or Scrum cycles.

How the Lab Works

The sessions take place online from 13:00 to 16:00. We handle the logistics, from recruitment to moderation, so you can focus entirely on your research questions. Every month we offer a fresh pair of experience experts where we rotate in accessibility needs.

The Afternoon Schedule:

  • 13:00 | Welcome & Onboarding: Introduction to the participants and the session format.
  • 13:15 | Research Session 1: Your team meets the first expert for a 45-minute deep dive.
  • 14:15 | Research Session 2: Swap rooms to meet a second expert with a different perspective.
  • 15:05 | Reflection & Strategy: A dedicated 1-on-1 wrap-up with our advisors to discuss key insights and define your next steps.
  • 15:30 | Optional Peer Networking: If both attending organizations agree, we facilitate a brief knowledge-sharing session to compare findings and learn from each other's challenges.

Is This a Good Fit for You?

This lab is ideal for teams that need regular user feedback but may not have the lead time to organize a full-scale standalone study. It serves as an excellent "better than nothing" alternative for tight deadlines and is suitable for organizations at any stage of accessibility maturity. If you want to make inclusive design a habit rather than a one-off project, this checkpoint is your starting line.
