The Monthly Accessibility Checkpoint is a recurring online lab designed to give UX researchers and product teams direct access to users with disabilities. Held every last Thursday of the month, this programthe checkpoint allows up to two organizations to conduct two 45-minute research rounds with experts by experiencelived-experience experts. Whether you need to validate a specific design hurdle, or perform a quick usability pulse-check or stresstest a key user flow, our lab provides the platform, the participants, and the expert moderation to help you build more inclusive digital products.

Why Join the Checkpoint?

For UX teams working in fast-paced environments or smaller organizations, finding and recruiting participants with specific accessibility needs can be a bottleneck. Our monthly lab helps you to get started or creates momentum, allowing you to hook into a pre-organized research cycle. It is the perfect "learning by doing" opportunity; your team will be guided by our inclusive research advisors, gaining hands-on experience in how to moderate and observe sessions with diverse users.

This format supports continuous improvement. Because it happens every month, you can return to validate iterations or test new features before they go live. While the sample size of each individual session is focused (N=2) is focused, it provides high-impact qualitative insights that can steer your development in the right direction, especially when working in Agile or Scrum cycles.

How the checkpoint works

The checkpoint sessions takes place online, every last Thursday of the month, from 13:00 to 16:00 pm CE(S)T. We handle the logistics, from recruitment to moderation, so you can focus entirely on your research questions. Every month we offer involve a fresh different pair of lived-experience experts where we with rotatinge in accessibility needs and profiles so that teams participating repeatedly will learn something new every time.  

The Afternoon Schedule:

  • 13:00 | Welcome & Onboarding: Introduction to the participants and the session format.
  • 13:15 | Research Session 1: Your team meets the first expert for a 45-minute deep dive.
  • Short break while we switch break out rooms
  • 14:15 | Research Session 2: Your team meets the second expert with a different perspective.
  • 15:05 | Reflection & Strategy: A dedicated 1-on-1 wrap-up with our advisors to discuss key insights and define your next steps.
  • 15:30 | Optional Peer Networking: If both attending organizations agree, we facilitate a brief knowledge-sharing session to compare findings and learn from each other's challenges.

Cost

€ 1459,50.

This includes:

  • support during preparation
  • facilities and guidance during the checkpoint
  • two 45-minute user tests with lived-experience experts
  • recruitment and compensation of the lived-experience experts
  • an evaluation with findings and next steps
